The Reserve Residences and Rifle Range Nature Park

The Reserve Residences and Rifle Range Nature Park

The Reserve Residences is so close to the new Rifle Range Nature Park that you can literally just walk across

The Reserve Residences at Jalan Anak Bukit is a new launch by Far East Organization in Singapore. It sits at the junction of upper Bukit Timah Road and Jalan Jurong Kechil and is really close to the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. It is also right in front of the Beauty World MRT station and is part of an integrated transport hub at the Beauty World precinct.

The integrated transport hub will have Beauty World Bus Interchange on the second storey. In addition to the bus interchange, there will be an underpass connecting to Beauty World MRT Station on Downtown Line.

The commercial space will span across the first three storeys, with 20,000 sqm which will cater to retail, food and beverage, and office space in a podium, centering around a 1800 sq m plaza. As for the residential space, there will be 700 residential units and 150 serviced apartments. Future residents at The Reserve Residences will have easy connectivity to the rest of the island via the PIE expressway, Bukit Timah Road as well as being next to Beauty World MRT station.

Shopping is a breeze at Bukit Timah Shopping Centre, Bukit Timah Plaza and Beauty World Plaza. There is also a huge Courts nearby for electronics and furniture. Of course, the Reserve Residences residents will enjoy good food as eating places are everywhere along the junction of Jalan Jurong Kechil and Upper Bukit Timah.

But today, we are going to talk about the proximity of the Reserve Residences to the Rifle Range Nature Park. This would be a great outdoor activity that the residents of the Reserve Residences will enjoy when they buy a unit at this mixed-use development along Upper Bukit Timah Road.

About the Rifle Range Nature Park

Situated along Rifle Range Road to the south of Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, the new Rifle Range Nature Park is 66 hectares and you can explore the nature park via a network of boardwalks and trails. It served as a sort of green buffer to protect Bukit Timah Nature Reserve from the many human developments at this edge.

It was said that the park has about 7km of hiking trails. There are a few connected trails and you can also enjoy a magnificent view of the park and the quarry at the Colugo Deck, which is right at the top of the former Sin Seng quarry.

Read about this amazing new Rifle Range Nature Park, right close to the Reserve Residences. The Reserve Residences location meant an easy walk over to the nature park. Alternatively, future residents can use the overhead bridge at Beauty World Centre to reach the Rambai entrance of the Rifle Range Nature Reserve.

Enjoying the Rifle Range Nature Park

The Reserve Residences residents can totally enjoy the new Rifle Range Nature Park. As you walk over the Rambai boardwalk into the park, you can see and join the Rail Corridor too.

A two level visitor plaza welcomes you to the park, where on the first level, there are toilets and water cooler, shoes cleaning section (not kidding) and a small exhibition is. It is also where the car park is (not that the residents need the car park as they can easily walk over).

Walking into the Rifle Range Nature Park, residents will come to the Gliders Broadwalk. Residents can visit the “Forest Exploration Trail”. Definitely a kid’s play area, where logs and boulders create a material connection with nature and enable children to hone their balancing skills as they climb, balance, or jump over the logs. Imagine your children playing and enjoying the nature with you.

Moving even further in, you will come to Quarry Wetland and then onto the famous Colugo Deck. The Quarry Wetland used to be the Sin Seng Quarry, which was actually mainland Singapore’s deepest quarry but is now a lush habitat for wetland animals and plants.

Of course the highlight of the Rifle Range Nature Park, which is a viewing lookout deck known as the Colugo Deck, with a stunning view of the Quarry Wetland from above.

A fantastic view of the Upper Bukit Timah is presented here too. You might even be able to see your Reserve Residences site from here.

Finally upon leaving the Colugo Deck, you can hike along 7km of trails including that of Gaharu trail and Banyan Trail. Of course, from here, you can also easily visit the MacRitchie Reservoir park amidst the backdrop of Bukit Timah Hill.

Future residents of the Reserve Residences enjoy this park and other nature parks along Bukit Timah Road easily.
